I hope it is now quite well known how much I feel passionate about sustainable investing. Having been active in the sustainable/ethical investment sector for several decades I have seen interest grow and the beginnings of acceptance as mainstream thinking.
Someone who has been invaluable to me in understanding and developing my approach has been Julie Dreblow.
Known for her passion for this area, Julia was previously well known as the spokesperson for the Friends Provident SRI (Sustainable and Responsible Investment) proposition, which includes the Stewardship funds as well as a range of ‘external funds’ and ‘engagement’ options.
She was also a director of the not-for profit SRI membership organisation UKSIF (UK Sustainable Investment and Finance) for seven years. She helped UKSIF develop their highly regarded retail green and ethical investment programmes and the first ever National Ethical Investment Week.
Julia now works independently offering green and ethical investment support and tools for financial advisers. The aim of this work is to expanding the success of this area and to help improve investor access to investment options that take sustainable and responsible investment issue into consideration. sriServices work was ‘Highly Commended’ in the Corporation of London’s Sustainable City Awards (Sustainable Finance) in 2015.
So, Julie’s update of her The independent green and ethical investment hub for UK financial advisers is such good news.
Do have a look [here] and if you want to ask more or explore the wonderful benefits of honest investing with integrity do, please, give me a call.
