Pension freedoms are to be extended to people with annuities. The Chancellor announces government will extend pension freedoms to around 5 million people who have already bought an annuity.
The government recognises that for most people retaining their annuity will be the right choice, and that making a decision whether to sell and at what price will be difficult for consumers.
