Our simple stylised gem symbolises our approach to communicating and working with you.
Whilst the process may be detailed and complex we regard our responsibility being to deliver the information to our in a way that is as comprehensive yet concise, with clarity and language that should be as easily understood as possible.
Of course we will use words that have specific meanings and ensure clear understanding without the need for long sentences; but we will also endeavour to explain these and ensure you understand.
The Plain English Society has " been campaigning against gobbledygook, jargon and misleading public information. We have helped many government departments and other official organisations with their documents, reports and publications. We believe that everyone should have access to clear and concise information ".
We were creating our gem logo around the time that the [independent] society published it's now famous Crystal Mark. A co-incidence it was as, at the time, we were also looking for a symbol that also demonstrated quality and value.
Nevertheless we are pleased to have a logo that also supports our ethos that:
" everyone should have access to clear and concise information ".
If we fail in communicating clearly with you please tell us.
